Common questions
Is it really free to buy and sell?
Yes, almost everything is. Listing a car, the mechanic check, the AI car report for sellers, browsing and messaging are free. Buyers pay a small fee only if they choose to unlock a car's full report.
Who does the mechanic check?
Independent local repair shops that partner with ZeroDealer. The shop's name and the check date are shown on every report.
Can a seller edit or hide the report?
No. The shop uploads the report itself and it attaches to the car by VIN. Sellers can read it but can't change it.
How do I meet the seller and pay?
You arrange the test drive and payment directly with the owner. Meet in a public place in daylight and never pay before seeing the car. Free bill of sale and odometer forms are on our documents page.
